Foscarini was born in 1981 in Murano, the beautiful Venetian island famous for its blown glass, a material used for many of its products.

The numerous collaborations with internationally renowned designers, allowed Foscarini to quickly become one of the most prestigious companies in terms of lightning, and to receive various awards for the design of its products. Active partner in many cultural activities, Foscarini was also the official sponsor of the Biennale d'Architettura in Venice and gave life to some editorial projects. Careful and caring about the environment, Foscarini got certified with the UNI EN ISO 14001:2004 for the reduction on the environmental impact of its production process in 2012.
